Where this calendar’s listings come from.

Ticketing feeds

Ticketmaster, room by room — the Highline Performing Arts Center and Starfire Stadium have venue records there and nothing listed yet (nothing in Burien sells through Ticketmaster); the Seawolves’ home matches are written in from the club’s own schedule, linked to its ticket page. Church events are left out.

Venue calendars

The Highline Performing Arts Center from its own events page (highlinepac.org — every show at the hall on the Highline High School campus, linked where the page prints a tickets button). B-Town Blog’s community calendar (b-townblog.com/events — the museum, the schools, the parks, the Elks, BAT Theatre at Kennedy Catholic; notices, civic business and the Lancers’ away games are left out) and Discover Burien’s (discoverburien.org/calendar — the Thursday farmers market at Town Square, Boo-in Burien, Uncorked, the Pride happy hour at the Tin Room); whatever is at a place with no row of its own lands in Around Burien. The City of Des Moines parks calendar (desmoineswa.gov — Beach Park, the Marina, the Field House; the council and commission meetings are left out).

Game dates

ESPN for the Seahawks, Storm, Reign and Sounders, MLB’s stats API for the Mariners (first-pitch times and the standings), the NHL’s for the Kraken, and the Seawolves’ own site for their Major League Rugby season. The six Seattle clubs play twenty minutes up the freeway, so their games are in the Teams view only; the Seawolves’ home matches at Starfire are in the list.

The map

The shoreline, the lakes and the main roads are © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), drawn here as one file made at build time — no map tiles, nothing fetched from anywhere else. Venues are placed from their street addresses.

The final word

Refreshed once a day at noon. Every listing links to the venue or ticket page — check there before you go.
